ONGC Foundation Fellowship Program 2022
As part of India @ 75, ONGC is implementing projects to promote handicrafts in multiple states of India, including Rajasthan, Assam, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Orissa and Karnataka. “Shilpvidya ki Udaan Ke Sahyogi Fellowship and Internship Program” provides a unique opportunity for young leaders across India to tackle some of the most difficult challenges and learn what it is like to make a difference in the handicraft sector.ONGC Fellowships and internships will endeavor to make these craft a brand that can be sold in the international market and to support the organization in its current field.
This is an opportunity for young, enthusiastic and passionate students who are willing to contribute to society. To praise India’s arts and crafts, ONGC and the ONGC Foundation train 16 Indian artisan craftsmen to help them preserve our rich heritage of arts and crafts. The ONGC Foundation is currently running 6 craft projects across India and plans to launch 10 more in 2022. It will help us understand the reality of their sector and provide better insights to address the challenges of Project
Objective
- Engage through skills to enhance craft projects and their products through marketing, branding, and design to enhance and develop sustainable craft projects.
- Create an evergreen market platform to raise awareness of crafts and promote them around the world.
- Educate craftsmen about the global market and help them create products that can be sold domestically and internationally.
Key Features
- Fellows and interns to collaborate with the ONGC Foundation and project implementation partners in the Arts and Culture sector.
- Fellows and interns to provide analytical, creative, and design support for the implementation of projects through the ONGC Foundation.
- Fellows and interns need to critically assess the needs of the industry and provide R & D assistance to achieve better results for the projects carried out by the ONGC Foundation.
- Fellows and interns will also help the ONGC Foundation and implementing organizations develop platforms for craft projects.
- Fellows and interns will gain hands-on experience in developing implementation modules that will help them solve grassroots challenges and plan a valuable career.
The responsibilities of FELLOWS will include:
- Coordinating 15 Handicraft Projects
- Establishing networking for the projects
- Marketing and Designing Development
The responsibilities of INTERNS will include
- Business Development & Marketing Interns
- Design and Product Development from Design School
- Packaging from design schools of packaging
- Organize events
Eligibility
For Fellows
MBA in Rural Development/ MSWNetworking & Merchandising. Master in Merchandising, M.Sc. in Fashion and Textile Merchandising, MBA and/or Master in Fashion Technology and Management.Marketing and designing. MBA/Masters in M.Des (Masters in Design) – Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Multimedia Design, New Media Design, Product Design, MFA (Master in Fine Arts) – Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Animation, Motion Graphics.
Desirable-qualification Strategic analysis and analytic skillsExperience of using Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Interns pursuing Masters in above domains
Stipend
Fellows: Rs. 25000 per montjh
Interns: Rs. 10000 per month
